After earning a teaching certificate, a young person from China received an invitation through an older relative to teach at an elementary school in a port city. And so, they set out for the fantastical land of Yokohama.
While volunteering at an orphanage, they adopted a trembling little ball of white fluff.
While teaching in the slums, they used what little they had to help a small group of children who wanted to go to school find new futures.
In the midst of gunfire, they teamed up with a peer who looked a little older than his years to pick up a child.
Short on money, they went beachcombing and found an underage bandage freak.
They took a part-time job at a bar, only for a drunk minor to wreck the place.
As a responsible teacher who takes their duties seriously,
they slap a certain boss in the face with the entire body of laws protecting minors.
A certain underworld boss: ???
Defending a certain droopy-eared rabbit, they scold him for failing as a teacher and being a leftover from the quality education system.
The truly uneducated mackerel: ???
I want to write a protagonist who can handle big situations, gentle on the surface but fiercely protective of her own; a headstrong young person with a strong sense of professional ethics who gradually grows up, learning to accept the gray and make room for darkness without losing sight of who she is, until she becomes a dependable adult.
Since the protagonist has no combat ability, we gave her powerful connections!
The pacing will still be slow. Mostly, I want to raise a little tiger. For the main pairing, I'm currently choosing between Oda Sakunosuke and Ranpo. Hmm, I feel like the Oda stock will do better early on, probably. I'll see how it goes. More options may be added as the story develops.
Either way, whether you invest in Oda or Ranpo, it's all about raising kids. (Oh no, I'm getting further and further into the business of raising kids.)
Theme: Care for students, set a good example, educate and nurture, and teach each student according to their abilities
