The Brocade-Clad Detective

After dying from overwork and transmigrating, Qi Huan only wants to be a lazy freeloader who eats and waits to die.

But after accidentally solving a few cases, she catches the attention of Xiao Tingyu, Commander of the Embroidered Uniform Guard, and becomes an excellent wage slave all over again.

Qi Huan, with her high salary: I can't even smile.jpg

From a small county town to the capital, she solves more and more cases and rises higher and higher in rank. Xiao Tingyu's gaze grows more and more peculiar, too.

Qi Huan decides she can't keep working as an official, and can't keep solving cases!

She nervously hands in her resignation. Xiao Tingyu strokes his gleaming long saber, his strikingly handsome, almost demonic face wearing a half-smile.

"Either stay and solve cases, or become my wife. Pick one."

"...What if I don't want either?"

Xiao Tingyu considers this for a moment.

"Then solve cases and be my wife at the same time?"
