May She Shine Bright Every Night

My next stories: "Amnesia Diary" and "Little Pot Lid" Beautiful, charming, warm on the surface and cold inside x an aloof beauty with overwhelming possessiveness Blurb: (I'll write and update this slowly.) At a banquet, Lu Jia listened to his friends discussing the bridal fashion show they'd just seen. Wen Keqing, wearing a green wedding dress, was a rising actress, graceful in every gesture and a stunning beauty. "What do you think, Lu Jia?" Just then, the rising star happened to come up beside him. Lu Jia looked up. "What do I think?" He held an unlit cigarette between his fingers and turned slightly to look at her, saying coolly, "She's a bastard." The atmosphere froze. Wen Keqing didn't seem to mind. She turned back and met his eyes with a smile. "I really am." Their friends laughed and tried to smooth things over. But after the banquet, they saw Lu Jia block Wen Keqing at her car door. "Why are you wearing a green wedding dress?" "It's for work." Wen Keqing looked up. "With so many people around, getting into a scene with a bastard like me isn't appropriate for someone of your standing, Mr. Lu." "My standing?" Lu Jia chuckled. "What standing? The standing of someone dumped by a bastard? Or..." "The standing of someone who still refuses to learn his lesson after being dumped by a bastard?" - The first time Lu Jia saw Wen Keqing was on a summer afternoon in a small town. The girl wore an oversized T-shirt and dozed lazily on a chair outside a flower shop. Green curls fell around her, making her look like a forest princess, so beautiful she seemed unreal. The sight struck young Lu Jia like a thorn in the eye. That was why, that summer, when the princess reached out a branch toward him, he dared to dream of keeping her captive in the human world. He did then, and he still does now. - [The thing Wen Keqing regretted most was getting involved with Lu Jia in high school. He destroyed all the resolve and stubbornness she had clung to over the years.] [Only later did she realize that meeting Lu Jia was also the thing she was most grateful for. He gave her the most perfect fairy tale of her life, and sent her a city full of lights that would shine all night long.] "She's like a rose in the desert. If I don't hold on to her, she'll be swallowed by the sandstorm." --From Lu Jia's diary. One-on-one, both virgins, younger man (it's just a story, don't take it too seriously) Theme: A warm sun in the dark, pulling me toward a better life.
