The Holy Monk and It

* Robes on his back and a monk’s staff in hand: a monk.

Wild and unruly, clad in tiger-skin skirt: a creature.

It said, “I sought a Buddhist fate at the Buddha’s side. The headband was my destiny, my tribulation.”

After the eighty-one trials faded into the clouds and master and disciple met again, the headband was gone, yet it still protected him with its life, time and again.

Old Sun has never cared about the righteous path of the mortal world. I slay demons and monsters only because I hate those lowly fiends who spend day and night coveting my master’s blood and flesh.

* Irreverent little scene:

In the Great Tang, there is a holy monk named Xuanzang, fair-skinned and beautiful. Eating his flesh and drinking his blood can grant immortality.

The female demons of the Three Realms hear this and grow restless.

Unfortunately, the holy monk has a yellow-haired monkey monster as his guardian, never leaving his side.

One night, an unknown female demon drinks a couple of ounces of strong liquor. With her courage bolstered by drink, she transforms into a ravishing beauty, irresistible to the soul. Inside the temple, the holy monk sits with palms together beneath the glow of a green lamp. The demon monkey says, “Master, how many hundreds of times must you recite Amitabha before you can banish Old Sun from your thoughts?”

The female demon’s heart skips a beat. So much for the rumors about some yellow-haired monkey monster. What the hell?

That’s the Great Sage, Equal to Heaven!

A thousand years ago, he took one heavy-ass staff and wrecked the Jade Emperor’s palace!

The female demon grits her teeth and floats away. In this world, neither the holy monk nor that creature is to be coveted.

Having them would cost your life. Losing them is a blessing!

2. The blurb is irreverent, but the actual story is serious.

3. A parody series.

★ Important: This is a completed story that can still be continued. If there’s something you want to read, call me over. If there’s enough demand, I’ll keep writing.

★ I guess I just thought nobody would want to read it, hahaha.
