The Palace Eunuch Hound

Wang Yuanchen is a lowly eunuch, the most despicable servant in the palace. Anyone can kick him around.

No one knows that, in secret, he yearns for the princess of this dynasty.

Wang Yuanchen thinks he'll never get the chance to exchange even a single word with the princess. Then he becomes a powerful eunuch, able to turn the tide and wield tremendous influence.

But the princess is married off to a military man who plans to usurp the throne. She is neglected and abused, brought low and ground into the dust.

The emperor is incompetent and foolish, timid and cowardly.

It takes no effort for Wang Yuanchen to seize power and take control of the court.

But he cannot ascend the throne, because an emperor cannot be an incomplete eunuch.

So he plans to support the princess as the new ruler, making her the most revered, beautiful, and powerful woman in all the land.

He considers himself vile and base, and never looks her in the eye. Yet in one damp dream after another, he sees her completely, every last inch of her.

In his dreams, he is a ferocious, domineering wolf, ravenously breathing her in, wanting to swallow even her breaths.

In the waking world, he is her most loyal dog, willingly at her command.

[The original heroine was a gentle, adorable little angel, but that version is no longer in my comfort zone, so I changed the blurb a bit.]
