[Greek Mythology] I Heard I'm a Pearl Lost to the Sea

Zeus, the most powerful stud in the three realms, fathered countless illegitimate children from his countless affairs. First came the radiant Apollo, then the epic hero Heracles. Among Zeus's army of bastards, Tauthos was the least remarkable. He had neither divine power nor a godly station. His mother was nothing more than an ordinary mortal. At five years old, Tauthos, left to grow wild and free, cut his thumb and mixed his blood into a clay figurine of Zeus. High atop Mount Olympus, almighty Zeus suddenly heard a prophecy from the Fates. "Among the king of the gods' illegitimate sons, one will unite the mortal world." After uniting all of Greece, Tauthos stubbornly pressed on: "Only king of the mortal world?! Didn't they say one of his sons would overthrow his rule?" Tauthos whistled to summon his army of bastards. "Brothers, Hera doesn't claim us anyway, so why not storm the heavens!" Don't ask who I am. I'm the brightest pearl in the vast ocean. In other words, a pearl lost in the sea. King of the Gods Zeus stared at the illegitimate sons crowding the hall, his pupils trembling with shock. "Athena, even you..." Athena: "Can't be helped. He offered too much." P.S. The protagonist has no divine powers, only brains, and very useful brains at that. A feel-good power fantasy with an ambitious premise, since the protagonist really is going to unite Greece. Theme: Press on without hesitation, and keep your heart turned toward the light.
