The Movie Star's Paper-Doll Girlfriend

Popular actress Jiang Yitong has been in the industry for ten years without a single dating scandal.

She has no close friends. Neither her male nor female colleagues can get close to her off-camera. She always keeps her distance from everyone.

So everyone agreed on two labels for her: "frigid" and "destined to die alone."

Yet her beauty and aloofness still earned her countless fangirls who called themselves her girlfriends and wives. Every day, they flooded Weibo with cries of "Marry me, wife!"

Even though paparazzi had caught her several times meeting a woman alone somewhere, everyone assumed they were just old friends catching up, and that the woman was a friend Jiang Yitong had finally managed to make.

No one believed Jiang Yitong was the sort of person who would ever fall in love.

Just as everyone thought Jiang Yitong would remain single for the rest of her life, she suddenly posted on Weibo one day.

"Grateful our paths crossed." The brief four-character caption suited her cool personality, but the caption and the photo she posted sent everyone into a frenzy.

Before long, "Jiang Yitong Announces Her Relationship" shot to the top of the trending topics.

Only Jiang Yitong knew that the story began a year earlier, with a romance game she had played.
