What was even more exasperating was that a demon from the Abyss abducted him.
Their story began with a demon's contract.
A genius, cool incubus gong; midway pairing, an ancient Divine Abomination shou; endgame pairing, an evil, possessive demon mentor shou.
Le Kai acquired a magic mirror from the Abyss and eagerly asked, "Mirror, mirror, who is the one destined to be my love?"
The mirror flashed, and a long passage of text appeared on its surface:

After reading the mirror's prophecy, the demon mentor Garcia gave a cold laugh and slapped the prophetic mirror deep into the ground. Then he turned to Le Kai and said tenderly:
"Kai, you mustn't believe those so-called prophecies. They're all fake, a blatant scam. I bet that Divine Abomination is behind this. I'm the one destined to be your love. I'm the one who's going to fall in love with you."
Le Kai looked unconvinced.
Even if he really did get together with a demon, there was no way they would fall in love. They would inevitably fall into lava.
Le Kai was troubled. Damn it, he didn't want to go swimming in lava.

"I'm this damn good, so of course I won first place among the Rising Stars. I have nothing to say."
"Uh, then what are your hobbies? Your fans have pushed this question to the top of the trending list."
"Hobbies? I like..." Le Kai flashed an utterly bewitching smile.
The audience below held their breath.
"Power, power, and more power. I don't think there's anyone who doesn't like power, right?"
Le Kai grinned arrogantly.
