Gu Shui has hypersomnia.

Out of every twenty-four hours, he sleeps twenty.

For the remaining four, he drifts around in a daze. His grandmother has taken him to countless doctors, but none of them could help.

Until Gu Shui met that person. Passing by, the man steadied him with a hand and said, "Move aside."

Gu Shui, who had been groggy just moments ago, suddenly came fully awake. For the rest of the day, he didn't feel sleepy at all.

From that day on, Gu Shui made up his mind to find that person.

Huo Yao had the feeling someone had been following him lately. Every time he turned around, he saw a well-behaved little kid. Frowning, Huo Yao wondered what the kid wanted.

When he turned around again, the kid was leaning against a utility pole, about to fall asleep, like a little cat who loved napping.

Huo Yao walked closer. The kid opened his eyes, their watery glimmer making Huo Yao feel a little uneasy.

But what the kid said next made him frown even more.

"I've found you."

After that, a kid his own age started following Huo Yao around.

Well-behaved, quiet, and so cute Huo Yao wanted to hide him away.

Later, when Huo Yao learned about Gu Shui's hypersomnia, he finally understood what Little Cat Gu had meant.

And in Little Cat Gu's diary, Huo Yao was called Catnip.

P.S.:

1. At the beginning, both boys are middle school students. Huo Yao calls him a kid because Gu Shui looks very young.

2. They are not in a romantic relationship while they are minors.

3. A cute and sweet romance.
