The Door Dog and Nao the Cat

A Few Words Before We Begin: This is a short story! I wrote it specifically to enter Lehu's Create a Hundred Tales event! The title is pretty silly, but I'm terrible at coming up with names = = Just bear with it.

Content warnings:

1. An alternate setting where humans and monsters coexist.

2. The Senju are a clan of human onmyoji, while the Uchiha are a clan of cat monsters.

3. Monsters must cultivate for a hundred years before they can take human form. Madara has turned a hundred and gained the ability to assume human form, but Izuna hasn't managed it yet. The Senju brothers are both onmyoji, but Tobirama is different from Hashirama: he is a half-monster. His mother was a dog-clan monster who took human form, fell in love with the onmyoji Senju Butsuma, and bore him a child. Hashirama, meanwhile, is the son of the Princess of the Land of Fire, Butsuma's legal wife.

4. No CP (?), just friendship.

Theme: An alternate Naruto setting and a cross-species friendship
