[Aotu World] After Becoming a Contestant, I Banned the Tournament

Moira has always felt she has given everything for Aotu World, ready to work herself to death, shouldering far too many duties that do not belong to someone her age: nanny, housekeeper, and parent. Then, convinced she had given her last bit of light and warmth, she resolved to retire.

But to make sure no inexplicable troubles would come looking for her after she retired, she decided to "join the Aotu Tournament," naively believing that, barring any surprises, the contestants would be her last job. But can someone please tell her why all the people she had worked herself to the bone for, bidding farewell to them with a faked death, have gathered here?

Moira: Sorry, maybe I was too naive, but the Creator God assigns all the work. Could you please not come to me?

Moira: Wait. I believe in seeing things through to the end, so this tournament is unreasonable. I'll ban it first, then talk to you all.

Q: Contestant, do you wish to join the Aotu Tournament, change your destiny, and reach the pinnacle of life?

Moira: I don't know who you are, but thank you. I believe humanity's fate can only be in humanity's own hands.

Q: ...All right, then. Contestant _____, what do you think it means that God loves the world?

A: That's enough, you don't need to answer. They all say God's love for the world is compassion. No, let me tell you what it is, contestant: the world's most malicious lie, the cruelest punishment.

Moira: ...Don't look at me, and don't listen to that answer. Trust me, it's all lying to you.

2. Combines the TV and game settings, but includes some major changes. Please proceed with caution if that bothers you.

3. All characters get plenty of attention, with friendship and romance. BG and GL are both possible (probably), and the story of the "future" may be told through different endings.

4. I often revise earlier chapters, and the blurb might change too. The cover is custom-made, and I'll commission art later to fill things in (I haven't decided what yet).
