[Western Fantasy] The Knight Has Lost His Memory Again

Gloucester had the worst luck in the world when he transmigrated into this world of swords and magic, only to become the lowest of the low in its class system. He had planned to drift through life in a daze, but just when he had lost all hope, he met his beloved, Isis.

Clean, resilient, and gentle, Isis was utterly out of place in this world. He would foolishly give his whole heart in response to the slightest kindness, and never took advantage of his privileges even when he held a position of power. He was willing to fight to the death for his suffering people, yet they called him a monster, scum, and a useless wretch who deserved to die because of his birth.

He fought against fate, but fate only gave him more suffering. Even after going from a useless outcast despised by everyone to a terrifying legend across the continent, the people he protected still wanted to wring more benefits from him.

It seemed as if Gloucester was the only person in the world who wanted to save Isis.

Everyone saw Isis's devotion, but only Gloucester, as mediocre and useless as a nobody, reached out to him. They thought Gloucester was “the sun shining upon the Witch Clan,” but they didn't know that Isis had always wanted to save only Gloucester.

But Gloucester didn't know that his beloved had made up his mind from the moment they met.

Whatever Gloucester wanted, Isis would bring it to him.

So that one day Gloucester might live in a truly equal and enlightened world, Isis was willing to overturn the entire world. Even if he was covered in wounds and drenched in blood, even if his bones piled into a mountain of corpses stretching beyond sight, as long as Gloucester was denied the honor and respect he deserved, Isis would cross the threshold of death again and again.

Even in death, his heart would never change.
