The Lord God and I Share a Secret Identity

Cynthia transmigrated into a painting in an ancient castle, and spent several years enjoying a peaceful life of watching the drama unfold. Until one day, the curse was broken. She stepped out of the painting, only to inexplicably be mistaken for the ruler of this world. The governor, who held power over an entire region, knelt before her on one knee. "O deity returned to the mortal world, the world awaits your salvation." A mysterious knight granted an apocalypse prophecy offered her the heart in his chest. "Do you see this heart? It beats for you alone, forever." A free-spirited, eccentric scientist said, "I have new ideas, and you have power. Let's work together and create a new world." Cynthia brushed off her clothes. "...Sorry, I'm not good at saving the world. I'm out of here." * A thousand years ago, the supreme god sealed away the part of their divine soul they despised most inside a painting, then fell into slumber. A thousand years later, their divine nature awoke, and the supreme god remembered that painting. According to prophecy, its contents would destroy the world. When the revived deity finally found the castle and the painting, the frame was empty... The most greedy and evil, yet also most genuine and complex part of their divinity had run off... Run off?! From then on, the supreme god set out to find their other self (crossed out), Cynthia. (Blurb captured in a screenshot on 2021.8.28.) Reader's Guide: 1. Note: This is not a narcissism story. 2.
