A Human Comedy: Dazai-kun

The Gojo family, one of the three great jujutsu families, receives a request from the Tsushima family, a prominent political clan. They entrust their frail youngest son, Shuji, the sixth child burdened with the “Heavenly Restriction,” to the Gojo main family to be raised as a jujutsu sorcerer.

The boy named Tsushima Shuji is pale and beautiful, with a pair of dull, sea-dark eyes the color of wisteria. On the day they first met, the sickly boy, dressed in Western clothes, crouched in front of the four-year-old young master of the Gojo family, and they spent the whole afternoon watching ants carry things.

Later, the young master Gojo learned from the servants that Tsushima Shuji had been born able to dispel countless curses, and that cursed energy passed through him without harming him.

As the price, he had lost his human heart. He was born without one.
