Song on the Ice [Figure Skating]

Everyone says Tang Li has liked Zhou Yan since childhood. For his sake, she switched from women’s singles to ice dance and beat countless competitors to become his partner.

They had been partners for years, but after she suffered an unexpected injury, he chose a new partner without hesitation.

Heartbroken, she promptly broke up with him and planned to retire and return to school.

Just then, a junior teammate who had recently returned from abroad stopped her and asked if she would partner up with him.

Tang Li: “You mean partner with you in pairs skating?”

Jiang Rui: “I mean date me.”

Tang Li: “I refuse.”

Tang Li: I’m done with all that worldly desire :)

Jiang Rui: But I’m not :)

Jiang Rui: “I’ve had a dream since I was young.”

Tang Li: “What is it? To win Olympic gold?”

Jiang Rui: “No. My dream is for Jiang Rui to be wherever Tang Li is. As long as you’re there, I’ll go with you, whether it’s heaven or hell; I’ll be by your side on the highest peak or in the deepest valley.”
