Elder Sister

A Zhu was the classic example of someone who spent her whole life hunting eagles, only to have an eagle peck out her eye in the end.

As the legitimate princess, A Zhu helped her birth mother win the emperor's favor from a young age, scheming against the arrogant, favored consort. Later, she carefully plotted her rise to power and supported her young brother's ascension to the throne. She was a master of political maneuvering, but never imagined that the younger brother she'd watched grow up would scheme against her and trap her in a room.

"I'm your own sister." A Zhu was forced to retreat step by step.

Shen Xingzhou smiled. "Whether we're really siblings, you know perfectly well, don't you?"
