I Activated the Crown Prince’s Villainous Side

Mu Tao is a female ghost whose reincarnation didn't go as planned. She's trapped in a body destined to die of illness at seventeen.

The way to save herself is to obtain the purest yang energy in the world.

She sets her sights on Lu Zhe, who is practicing Buddhism as a layman at Hanshan Temple.

Lu Zhe has been handsome since childhood, with rosy lips, white teeth, and an elegant, graceful bearing. At his birth, a Taoist priest cast his fortune and declared that in his previous life, Lu Zhe had committed countless killings and bore the weight of countless corpses. Only by spending twenty years at the temple performing rites for the dead could he live a peaceful life.

The first time Mu Tao sees Lu Zhe, she strips him.

Lu Zhe presses his palms together, a gentlemanly smile on his face: Amitabha. This is most inappropriate, benefactress...

The second time Mu Tao sees Lu Zhe, she gets right into bed.

Lu Zhe remains perfectly still, his gaze serene: Amitabha. If you are tired, benefactress, I can find you another place to rest.

The last time Mu Tao sees Lu Zhe, she finally gets the yang energy she wants and strides off into the cycle of reincarnation.

But she taught the Bodhisattva to taste desire, without teaching him how to sever his attachment. All she left behind was a cold corpse, driving him to break through the gate between life and death.

After being reborn, Mu Tao cherishes her healthy body more than ever. She never expects to see Lu Zhe again.

By then, he holds power and status, and a bewitching, inscrutable smile curls at the corner of his lips. "This young lady looks very familiar to me. Have we met before?"
