Your Journey of Ten Thousand Miles: Yi Pinxian

Yi Chuan was a graduate student in archaeology and a history-and-adventure streamer with millions of followers on a certain platform. During a livestreamed expedition, he accidentally slipped and fell. After nearly three hours of free fall, Yi Chuan finally landed, right in a pile of corpses. He had transmigrated to a chaotic age of warring factions and constant warfare. The first person he met in this troubled era was a genius of both courage and wisdom, versed in civil and military affairs, and capable of bringing the chaos to an end. ★ "I am Gu Xun, eldest son of the Marquis of Pingjiang. My courtesy name is Tianheng. May I ask your name, sir?" "Uh... My surname is Yi, my given name is Chuan, and my courtesy name is... is... Pinxian. My name is Yi Pinxian!" ★ To bring an age of chaos to an end, you first need a powerful army. Yi Chuan summoned all the fervor he'd shown on his livestreams, put on a helmet, and dodged arrows as he helped Gu Xun recruit soldiers and raise funds. A great leader needs an extraordinary origin story. Yi Chuan brainstormed through every biography of an emperor he'd ever read and invented a fantastical background for Gu Xun, one that would make him stand out among the dozens of rebel armies. A righteous army supported by the people needed heaven's help, so Yi Chuan created one miracle after another for Gu Xun himself. To win, he invented the most powerful weapons of the age, learned to plan strategies from behind the scenes, and mastered the art of winning people's hearts. In the end, he ushered in a new era. "Pinxian, I truly want to know: besides peace across the land, what do you want most?" "Hmm... Wi-Fi." "What?" "The sky is vast and the clouds are wide. I'll go wherever my heart takes me."
