Transmigrated as the Child Bride of a Sickly Scholar

Blurb:

Xu Yuan, who died an unfortunate death at the mouths of zombies, is reborn as the child bride of a sickly scholar.

After receiving the original owner's less-than-happy memories, Xu Yuan plans to get healthy, figure out the rules of this world, give the family she's living with some compensation, and then leave.

Yi Sheng knocks on the door impatiently. “Hey, are you awake? If you are, hurry up and come out to eat.”

Hearing her nominal fiancé's unfriendly tone, Xu Yuan narrows her eyes. She'd planned to teach him a lesson, but wasting food is a sin. Fine, she can punish him after the meal.

But when she sees the coarse black bread in her bowl, Xu Yuan falls silent. Luckily, her space came with her. Otherwise, getting healthy would take forever.

A short scene:

Yi Sheng points at Xu Yuan in anger. “So, Xu Yuan, you actually dared to sneak a bite!”

Xu Yuan is considering whether she can make him disappear from this world forever when she hears Yi Sheng continue, sounding a little embarrassed. “Ahem. If you promise to invite me whenever you eat something good from now on, I'll keep your secret. How does that sound? It's a great deal, right?” He even looks like he thinks she's the one getting a bargain.

Xu Yuan: “...” Fine. Since he's good-looking, she'll share some with him.

Who knew that giving in just once would be the beginning of falling for him?
