I'll Give You Candy

[I haven't written in a long time. I'll rewrite this someday when I come back to it. This was a story I came up with when I was young and loved very much. No matter how long it takes, I'll come back and finish it.]

He once told me that we could be friends, we could be brothers, but we could never be lovers. I shouldn't fall for him.

But I fell in love with him.

He left and never came back.

Lu Huai

"I want some candy. I know you have White Rabbit milk candies." Will you give me some?

"They're all yours. From now on, all my candy is yours. Even my life."

Mo Shu can't stand it when Lu Huai stares at him so ardently, but he also loves it most when Lu Huai looks at him. At those times, Lu Huai's eyes are filled with him.

He also loves hearing Lu Huai call him "Mo Shu, Mo Shu" over and over. He wants to pull him into his arms, wants to be the only one in his eyes and heart.

Lu Huai can only say, "You take advantage of the fact that I want us to be together and keep bullying me."

It's a different kind of bullying, but isn't that just affection?

P.S.:

1. Bottom's POV. Melodramatic. At first, it's only the kids' friendship. Romance comes later.

2. Not a traditional romance. Everyday family life. It begins in the early 2000s, so please don't judge the world of twenty years ago by today's standards. That would be unrealistic.

3. The values in the story do not represent the author's views. People can be good or bad, kind or evil, and aren't simply black or white. Everything is shown from the perspective of each character's background and position. (Species diversity.)

4. This should be a healing story.

Theme: Trust and respect one another.
