Everyone Thinks I'm the Mother of the Monsters

[Apologies for changing the premise]

Ling Zhi is an ordinary girl with just a tiny bit of supernatural power. Her parents abandoned her at an orphanage when she was little, but she fought her way into a high school with a very high academic cutoff.

Then strange things began happening around her. She discovered that beneath the surface, society was in turmoil: supernatural phenomena were returning, and a tiny number of ordinary people were awakening special abilities and catching glimpses of the world's secrets.

Tales of the strange, monsters, and humans simply can't coexist. Yet Ling Zhi discovered that she seemed to have a certain affinity that helped her form harmonious, loving master-servant bonds with monsters.

Naturally, she was the master.

Ling Zhi, who wanted nothing to do with trouble: "..."

One day, a man knocked on Ling Zhi's door. With a face full of fat, he told her that her parents, who had abandoned her as a child and were now living overseas, owed a mountain of debt. If she didn't want to die, she had to pay it by the deadline.

Ling Zhi, who only wanted a peaceful life: "...Tsk."

To pay off the debt, she joined a pyramid scheme whose ideology ran counter to society. Its members sought supernatural awakening and wanted the entire world to be shrouded in it.

Ling Zhi: I don't get it, but I respect it.

She only wanted to pay off her debt, but her outstanding performance caught the attention of the higher-ups. Both the Management Bureau and the organization took her very seriously. Her rank within the organization kept rising, while the Bureau grew increasingly wary of her.

Ling Zhi had a massive headache and just wanted to pay off her debt and leave.

She deliberately let the Management Bureau arrest her, calmly explained that she'd been forced into it, and revealed many of the organization's secrets, hoping to settle down to a peaceful life.

Just as the government was about to trust her, an ability user who claimed to be able to travel through time and space appeared out of nowhere and shouted, "Don't believe her!"

His expression was utterly sincere, and his eyes burned with boundless hatred. "In the future, she kills the founder of the organization and takes over, plunging the world into even greater chaos!"

"She can control those monsters. She is the Mother of Monsters!!"

Facing the crowd's stunned gazes, Ling Zhi remained expressionless. "...Six."
