Also, I can’t bear to make Daiyu get married and have children, so in this story she’ll have a close female friend to travel the world with. That only takes up a tiny part of the ending, though. The main story is about the Lin siblings and raising a child.
I’m an honest author. This will probably drive some readers away, but that’s better than having readers reach the end and be surprised, right?
There are lots of other Dream of the Red Chamber stories where Daiyu is doted on. I hope you find one you like.
