The Cousin Is Ill-Mannered

"The actor is the one who gets most deeply into character."

Wang Ruochu was a walking disaster!

After spending more than ten years away from home, she was finally found and brought back, only to be plagued by nightmares.

She dreamed that after returning home, her elders arranged a marriage for her to the third son of the Xie family.

On the day she married into the Xie family, the old master died. The old madam soon followed.

She earned herself a reputation as an ill omen and died of illness in the Xie household before turning nineteen.

What a raw deal!

All she wanted was to stay away from the Xie family.

If she couldn't afford to provoke them, she could at least avoid them.

The good news: She managed to avoid the Xie family's fourth son.

The bad news: She got entangled with their brilliant third son, Xie Huaishu.

That man was a real piece of work.

One day, Xie Huaishu suddenly blocked her path in the back garden and put on a whole performance.

His stunning face was full of resentment:

"Wang Ruochu, what does he have that I don't?!"

Wang Ruochu stared at him in confusion. "Cousin, what on earth is wrong with you?"

His expression darkened, his voice as cold as jade:

"We were betrothed before we were born. Cousin, please behave yourself and prepare for the wedding."

Xie Huaishu's brows were furrowed as if with a thousand years of frost. He pressed a kiss to her forehead.

"We have already been intimate. I will take responsibility."

Wang Ruochu slapped him. "You lecher! You lunatic!"

Everyone said that the third son of the Xie family was devoted to her.

In truth, Wang Ruochu was nothing more than an insignificant pawn in his hands.

Wang Ruochu gave up trying. She would enjoy herself while she could, eating and drinking to her heart's content.

She would wait until the time was right, then watch her cousin divorce her.

The male and female leads are cousins with no blood relation. An unconventional marriage-before-love story, both are virgins, one-on-one romance.
