Transmigrated as a Sickly Beauty, I Became the Villain’s Obsession

[Next up: Who Can Tell Who’s the Villain? Starts after the holiday.]

Qin Ziyu transmigrated into a book and became the Crown Prince of Qin. He had a noble status, but a sickly constitution that made him cough up blood at the slightest provocation. His father, the emperor, was weak and incompetent, and all the power in Qin was held by a eunuch named Xiao Ci.

In the book, Xiao Ci was the biggest villain, ruthless, sinister, and cruel. The original host was the one who had sent him into the palace to become a eunuch, then repeatedly humiliated him after he arrived, once beating him so badly he was left gravely wounded and on the brink of death.

By the time Qin Ziyu arrived, Xiao Ci had become the Director of the Western Depot. In less than two chapters, Xiao Ci was going to kill him with his own hands.

Qin Ziyu: What a complete mess.

To stay alive, he came up with a perfect explanation, blaming everything on "love." It was all because of love that a series of irreparable things had happened. He hoped Xiao Ci, who had grown up starved of affection, would spare his life.

Xiao Ci: Doesn’t Your Highness the Crown Prince look down on eunuchs the most?

Qin Ziyu: Nonsense. You’re the one I love most.

Xiao Ci: ...Your Highness is quite the liar. It seems I’ll have to use a little torture.

Qin Ziyu: Announce it to the world. I’m making Xiao Ci my Crown Princess!

Xiao Ci: ...

To put Xiao Ci’s suspicions to rest, Qin Ziyu diligently showed up at Xiao Ci’s palace every day, carrying his bedding.

Day one: Want to sleep together?

Day two: Want to sleep together?

Day three...

Day n: What the hell, you’re not even a real eunuch!

From the top’s perspective:

When Xiao Ci was eight, disaster struck his family. Starving and dizzy, his face caked with dust, he met a handsome older boy. The boy had the warmest hands in the world, and he pushed Xiao Ci into the cold castration chamber. From then on, Xiao Ci’s life became a living hell.

Hunger and cold became part of everyday life, and so did beatings and scoldings. He did the dirtiest, hardest work, and at night, biting down on snow to quench his thirst, he swore he would climb to the top of the power structure and make everyone regret it, especially... that high-and-mighty sickly prince.

After ten years of enduring humiliation, when he held a knife to that man’s throat, the man kept saying he loved him.

So you like putting on an act, huh?
