* Straight-laced woman x charming man, healing each other
* Next book: "Vampire Enslavement [Western Fantasy]", blurb at the bottom
Jian Yunyao has been ruling her mountain for a whole year, and is a notorious bandit hero in the Fuyun Mountain area.
Now twenty-three, she still hasn't married. The people from the village below sent her a handsome young man to be her husband.
As it happens, the pretty young man has a history with her.
Fu Zhaozhao has a somewhat ambiguous relationship with the emperor. In the end, that person just sees him as a cute little rabbit to tease.
But one day, the little rabbit suddenly bites someone, and she decides to cook him up for dinner.
He had planned to flee Shengjing, but was kidnapped on the road and dragged into a bandits' den.
And the bandit chief was that person's own younger sister.
With death either way, Fu Zhaozhao decided to lie flat and give up.
The two joined forces and became husband and wife.
-
Fu Zhaozhao looks down on Jian Yunyao. She has the status of a royal princess, yet played a good hand so badly that all she can do is hide in the wilderness and rob people.
If he weren't staying under her roof, he would never spare her a second glance, much less call her his wife.
But as time passes, he sees that she's not what he thought.
She robs local gentry and takes on bullies. She's skilled in martial arts, yet easygoing and approachable.
Though she's a little foolish compared to him, she has a wonderfully patient temperament and would make a fine wife.
Fu Zhaozhao thinks she's a good match.
He crouches beneath the window, secretly watching her silhouette.
He wonders how he can make their marriage official in more than name.
Oh, Jian Yunyao.
He's made his hints so obvious. Can't you humor him a little?
[Reading Guide]
1. My take on a matriarchal society, with plenty of original worldbuilding. Both leads are each other's first. The point of view is unclear because both male and female perspectives appear, and the chapters aren't written in POV format.
2. They heal and dote on each other. A little sweet treat.
3. There is no villain. The older sister simply has the demeanor of an emperor and her own way of thinking.
4. The male lead's name is pronounced Fu Zhaozhao, but he likes to pronounce it Fu Chaozhao himself, meaning "yearning for the light."
The variant pronunciation appeared a long time ago, but I couldn't find exactly when. If any of you know, please add it. Thanks~
Next book: "Vampire Enslavement [Western Fantasy]"
Goliath sets a trap to capture a vampire, planning to make him her servant.
This is dangerous.
Because she knows the man curled up in the box is the progenitor of the vampires, while she is merely a half-blood witch who has lost her magic.
Lester hates that filthy half-blood.
He should have been a charming rake wandering through high society, enjoying his freedom and delicious food. Instead, he can only wear a nameplate and become that woman's personal pet.
He will kill her.
*
Goliath despises humans.
Afraid of her own half-human, half-elf nature, she refuses to engage with the world.
Magic is her entire world, until one day the god who granted her magic vanishes.
She loses the ability to cast spells.
An ancient forbidden text records that the blood of creatures of the night can restore a person's magic.
Goliath decides to try it.
[Male Lead]
He wants freedom. He wants revenge.
With this conviction, Lester holds on.
But when she gathers up his growing golden hair, he is momentarily dazed, forgetting who bound his hands and made him a servant.
The reclusive half-elf doesn't know how to open her heart.
Perhaps he can help her fit into society and accept herself.
Lester becomes serious, and steps right into the trap.
He thinks he has finally found the love of his life, and once again loses himself in love without restraint.
But her faith is built on lies.
Everything is false.
*
Go, Goliath. Go destroy him.
Come, Lester. Come save her.
Theme: Break free from others' expectations and live in accordance with your heart.
This should be one of the top ten authors of Jinjiang's novels about female lords (based on my experience of reading a lot of books). Such mature writing style is rare in female lords' novels, and the collection is actually lower than those who talk nonsense and don't understand... Tsk
The wife's emotional drama was well written! Two mature people are in love
... This description of food makes me hungry at night
Catching insects: He is proud of Jian Yunyao
Looks good, the ending is full of flowers~
This setting is quite good. Yun Luo and Chao Chao lost the fight, but Yun Su is not necessarily a bad emperor.
Our ability to make up for our mistakes is outstanding.
Ah the war of love, Chao Chao is so cute~
From then on, there were people who felt sorry for her, wanted to restore her smile and happiness, felt her pressure and responsibility, and moved forward with her through thick and thin.
Wuwuwu, she has too much burden on her, so she still needs a pistachio to make her happy.

Is this a threat? I have an imperial heart.
