Dreams Planted on the Roof of the Old House

Xia Meng, who has social anxiety, hurried back to her hometown as soon as she graduated from college. Her greatest dream in life was to write and paint without ever leaving home, grow vegetables, raise cats, and keep her grandmother company. Now she could finally make it happen. As soon as she got home, she tidied up the rooftop. This was a local tradition: the roofs of their houses were thoroughly waterproofed, so all they had to do was haul up some soil and they could grow vegetables. Later, her second granduncle brought over a Chinese rural dog, her grandaunt sent two big orange cats, and when there were more vegetables on the roof than they could eat, Grandma bought three rabbits. During the pandemic, Xia Meng also took in a food delivery rider who couldn't get any vegetables. Later, Xia Meng, who never wanted to leave home, climbed onto the delivery rider's little scooter for the first time and went to see the first sunrise of her life. Slow to warm up, and no easy feat. I especially love this kind of story. When I first started writing, it was because I read a pure farming novel and decided to give it a try. As always, if you like it, please add it to your favorites! It'll motivate me to write more. Theme: The world is vast and beautiful
