The Chestnut Tree Became a Spirit

The environment deteriorated, species mutated, and the seasons blurred together. Winter lasted half the year. Xia Shu made it to the fifth year of the apocalypse. He didn't make it. He died. When Xia Shu woke up again, before he could wonder how he'd come back to life, he saw his own body hanging from a tree. Then Xia Shu was horrified to realize that he'd become part of that tree... one of them?? Faced with a chestnut tree that spent all day trying to devour his consciousness, Xia Shu declared, "A mountain can't hold two tigers, but a tree can hold two masters." From then on, you handle growing and I'll handle fertilizing. You provide the shade and I'll enjoy it. Let's work together to build a wonderful home. The chestnut spirit refused. "I only want to eat you." Xia Shu blushed and tentatively raised his little paw. "How do you want to eat me..." [Little Scene] Xia Shu happily munched on a basin-sized bowl of roasted chestnuts. The chestnut spirit watched, furious. "Shushu, you roasted my son and ate him behind my back!" Xia Shu replied, entirely unrepentant, "So what if I ate your son? You eat my son all the time, don't you?" Theme: The world is vast and beautiful.
