The Interstellar Federation’s Number One Beast Tamer

Blurb ↓ The eldest senior sister of the Beast Taming Sect, Zuo Diyi, failed her tribulation and transmigrated into a interstellar era where Beast Tamers were celebrated. Her first small goal in this new life was to become the strongest Beast Tamer. The very next moment, she was slapped in the face: because the systems were different, she couldn't awaken her beast-taming abilities. No big deal. The word “impossible” had no place in her life. After plenty of trial and error, Zuo Diyi finally became a Beast Tamer. During the admissions aptitude test, she stared at the big, straight, lonely single digit on the screen and fell into deep thought. The freshmen were also “stunned” by her abilities and burst into loud laughter: “Now that’s something you don’t see every day. I didn’t know potential could be as low as 1 point!” “I remember last year’s lowest score was 48.” Zuo Diyi: “…” She looked at the number “1,” lowered her eyelids slightly, and laughed along with them. - Ever since she made a name for herself at the admissions test, Zuo Diyi had become a hot topic at school: “I hear she contracted a delicate little butterfly.” “Although butterfly-type spirit beasts are weak, they’re really beautiful. It suits her face.” “Zuo Diyi contracted a sickly white cat.” “Uh… not surprising. Powerful spirit beasts wouldn’t want her.” “Someone saw her walking a snake the size of a chopstick.” “I’m kind of curious where she keeps finding all these useless spirit beasts.” “I heard…” “I heard that too…” At last, someone caught on and asked in confusion, “Wait, how can a Beast Tamer with a potential score of 1 contract so many spirit beasts without her Beast Palace exploding?” Before they could figure it out, the Interstellar Beast Taming Championship began. On the livestream: The delicate butterfly flapped its wings, scattering scales that drove the enemy team to turn on one another; The tiny sickly cat smacked a huge armored elephant flying with one paw; Most bizarre of all was the oddly shaped snake. It soared into the air, its tiny body giving off a roar that no snake should be capable of. The next moment, the enemy’s spirit beasts were cowering on the ground, trembling; … The audience went from shocked to numb, then couldn’t help shouting, “666!” Zuo Diyi held the trophy, her eyes languid and carefree, not deigning to look at anyone. “See that?” She lifted her chin, haughty and proud. “I’m the number one Beast Tamer in the galaxy.” Theme: Adversity drives people to grow, and perseverance will eventually let their brilliance shine.
