As the youngest actor of the year in history, Song Landang was preparing to keep dazzling the entertainment industry when he suddenly learned that he was merely a supporting character in an entertainment-industry novel, the kind who would meet a gruesome end.
As an ordinary person who valued his life, he decided to leave show business at once and avoid the protagonist Gong and the protagonist Shou. Luckily, his earlier work had earned him enough to cover his contract penalty and living expenses for the rest of his life. He left without a second thought, except for the occasional pang of missing his adorable fans.
But life never went the way he wanted. Who could explain why, even after he'd left the industry, the protagonist Shou still treated him like his unattainable first love? Unfortunately, before he could cut ties with the protagonist Shou, the world fell into chaos. Everyone was forced to take part in a role-playing game with two types of identities: actors and judges.
And, as luck would have it, Song Landang was an actor. That meant he had to join the game regularly, play the assigned roles, and earn perfect scores. Just as he was preparing to give a flawless performance, he realized that no matter how far he strayed from the character, the fans acting as judges would still blindly give him full marks. Hehehe, this feels great! But he still had some self-respect as an award-winning actor. And you, the person acting opposite me, could you please tone down that look in your eyes?!
