[Jujutsu Kaisen] The White of the Deluded

The day the cicadas fell silent, I sat inside a drinks shop by the road. As I picked up my cold drink, trying to hide my flushed face behind it, I suddenly realized I might have fallen for Suguru Geto, my childhood sweetheart. At last, my restless heart, unsettled all summer, had found its answer. But with it came the melancholy thoughts of autumn. I sat in my chair, listening to the person across from me tease us. The person I liked was sitting beside me, saying nothing. I peeked through my fingers. He had only an amused, helpless smile on his face, neither playing along with the teasing nor rejecting it. So I couldn't help getting my hopes up: Suguru must like me at least a little, right? [Note:] A short story I wrote on a whim. This came from joking around with Short Bro before, but since I had no outline, I've been struggling miserably to write it. I hope I'll finish it someday. *Sobs.* Theme: Save you.
