Hei Mu Yue had dreamed of becoming the king of Yokohama since childhood. For ten years, she struggled through hardship and toil to make that dream come true.
But fate kept changing the game on Yokohama's grand stage, and the city's many factions were reshuffled one after another.
The Port Mafia, once a complete mess, had reinvented itself under its new boss and was now thriving.
The former home for troubled teens known as the Sheep had long since vanished. The short kid who once joined them in shouting "Down with the Mafia!" switched sides, trading his undying loyalty for a mansion and a supercar.
Only she, Hei Mu Yue, still clung to her grand dream, steadfastly walking the road to kingship!
The reality, however, was that as the penniless leader of a Yokohama gang, Hei Mu Yue had lately been teetering between disbanding her group voluntarily and being swallowed up by force.
After much deliberation, Hei Mu Yue decided to put her bizarre ability to use and infiltrate the Port Mafia herself. She would bring them down from within, then fulfill her long-cherished wish of ruling Yokohama in one fell swoop!
The plan:
1. Fake her death and lose her memory, then get herself a better identity!
2. Stick close to the short executive. If we're friends, let's do something big together!
3. Strike while he's down, bring in outside help, and make the Mafia take the Hei name!
Terminally chuuni Hei Mu Yue: Just let me die once, and I'll get a shot at success and love! I am the king!
Unwaveringly loyal Nakahara Chuuya: Let's see who's coveting the Mafia now.
[Bonus Scene]
A: That's so sad. Miss Hei got pinned to the ground and beaten by Lord Nakahara in the training yard again yesterday!
B: ??? I was there, but wasn't she pinned down and kissed?
CP: Hei Mu Yue x Nakahara Chuuya, a love (and brawl) story between two bosses.
The timeline has been tweaked a little, and characters from other anime and movies appear. They won't affect your reading experience, mwah!
I'm Mu Lan, and I'm happy to start a new story!
Theme: Love is not, at its heart, about conquest or power.
