The Fake Lord Never Breaks Character

This story has made me revise my draft over and over until I've lost track of the plot, so updates will be irregular for now~ Thanks for all your support, little angels.

[Coming soon: When the Pretty Cannon Fodder Starts Causing Trouble. Please add it to your collection; blurb at the end.]

" Cute, scheming pet-like top and pretentious lord bottom "

Ji Ke, the Seed King, drove his truck into another world and landed on a wasteland continent.

There are only demons here, no humans. Only demon kings with terrifying power can take on perfect human forms.

Looking at the demons kneeling before him in worship,

Ji Ke: ...I can't do this. I'm human.

Ji Ke nervously took on the role of lord in another world. To avoid being swallowed whole, he did his best to keep up the act.

But gradually, he realized that being a lord wasn't all that hard.

The wasteland continent lived up to its name. It was vast and barren, and the demons struggled to get enough to eat.

Thinking of the truckload of seeds he had,

Ji Ke: ...I'm back in business. Let's march toward prosperity!

A Lord's Daily Life 1:

Panda Demon: My lord, my cubs eat too much. They've nearly gnawed West Mountain bald. What do I do?

Ji Ke rummaged around in his truck and pulled out a bamboo shoot. "Plant this for the cubs to eat."

A few months later, the Panda Demon looked at the towering green bamboo, took a doubtful bite, and...

!!!! Waaaah, my lord!!

A Lord's Daily Life 2:

The demons: My lord! The Dragon Continent is invading!

Ji Ke, acting confident on the outside but panicking inside: ...My act is falling apart. I'm done for...

But the cute pet in his arms rolled over, and the enemy leader flew away.

The demons, screaming at the top of their lungs: The lord is mighty!!!!

Ji Ke looked down at his beloved pet. Am I... back in business again?

Theme: Even in a barren place, there are still poetry and distant horizons.
