Mr. Wang, the Landlord Who Can Fly and Burrow

S City was selecting its Outstanding Citizens of the Year, an award that had never received much attention.

Until someone spotted this year's winner, the young movie star Xu.

Then someone noticed that the people lined up around Xu, from right to left, were the second son of the Li family, an old-money family in S City who had just taken over the family business; the only son of the Xie family, supposedly washed clean of his criminal past; and Jiang So-and-so, a popular novelist whose new book had sold over a hundred million copies.

No one knew the person at the head of the line. The young man was 188 centimeters tall, muscular, with a slim waist and long, powerful arms. Standing among the crowd, he certainly looked like a "muscle-bound hunk."

Someone asked Xu on Weibo who the man was. While doing the dishes, Xu grabbed his phone with his sudsy hand and hurriedly replied:

"That's our landlord, Mr. Wang, who can fly through the sky and burrow underground, do anything, and is equally at home hosting guests or working in the kitchen. He already has a boyfriend, and their relationship is stable, so don't bother him. But I can ask him to get you an autograph."

After posting that, Xu turned to Mr. Wang and handed over his phone ingratiatingly. "I've paid this month's rent too. How about letting Jiang So-and-so do the dishes tomorrow?"

Mr. Wang replied coldly, "You haven't scrubbed the pot yet."
