The Old-School Cadre System Saved My Life

Yun Zhi pushed a child out of the way of a car, only to die young herself.

When she opened her eyes again, she found that she was still alive!

System: "Congratulations! You've been selected for the Talented Youth Rescue Program."

Yun Zhi: "That program name doesn't sound very classy..."

System: "The organization is giving you a chance to be reborn. Please cherish it."

Yun Zhi: "I won't let the organization down!"

System: "Your mission may be difficult, but the organization believes you can complete it."

Yun Zhi: "It's no trouble at all. I'm happy to serve the people!"

After reading the mission requirements, Yun Zhi summed them up like this: Follow the example of Lei Feng!

Yun Zhi loathed the whole world and hated having anyone around her.

Jian Chi bought her a manor, and would secretly visit her without ever daring to disturb her.

Until one day, he saw Yun Zhi put a knife against her wrist. Unable to bear it any longer, Jian Chi decided to keep her by his side.

To complete her System mission, Yun Zhi couldn't wait to leave that boring manor!

Yun Zhi: "Stop the car! I want to help that old man cross the road!"

Jian Chi: "All right."

Yun Zhi: "This abandoned puppy is so pitiful. Can we take it home?"

Jian Chi: "Sure."

Yun Zhi: "Your childhood was so miserable. Is there anything I can do for you?"

Jian Chi: "Marry me."
