"On Orange, Some Fantasies"

Summer has burned itself out. Those words signify an ending, an explanation, an invitation. They mean: I want to see you. I hope you'll come. Because it's a desire, a hope, a secret wish, there's no need to proclaim it. It's enough that I know.

At eighteen, Tang Xiaoyi still didn't understand what it meant to like someone, or to love them. But he didn't need to understand back then. A beautiful, innocent boy is the most lovable and precious of all. Those were his golden years, never to return... and not worth remembering or bringing up.

His world was full, clear, and transparent, like a group photo bathed in the setting sun, faces glinting with the glare of overexposure. Among the numb yet joyous crowd, only Yi Ming had no right to be happy. They were all a rabble, teenagers who didn't understand the world, cheering as they celebrated another huge chunk of their lives being cut short. Only Yi Ming said, "It's good to be alive."

She said that being alive was truly wonderful.

It's okay if you don't understand the blurb. I don't understand it either.

Premise: A painful love story of youth.
