++++ Gu Qing and Shen Xingzhou entered a business marriage and had treated each other with "icy" respect for three years, keeping out of each other's way.
Until one day, Shen Xingzhou was hit on the head by something thrown from above. He didn't die, but his brain was damaged, and he became convinced he was a stand-in lover being kept by an overbearing CEO.
As the stand-in, Shen Xingzhou was weak, pitiful, and humble. He tugged at Gu Qing's sleeve. "If I smile like him, could you stay with me for a while?"
The overbearing CEO, Ms. Gu Qing: "...Who?"
According to the victim, Ms. Gu Qing, ever since her husband suffered brain damage, the formidable Shen in the business world had turned into a clingy little sponge cake. Oh, and he had a strong whiff of green tea about him.
Don't ask. The answer is that Gu Qing likes clingy little sponge cakes.
*
Shen Xingzhou had always known that Gu Qing had a beloved person in her heart. He did everything he could to keep her by his side, but he still couldn't escape the ending where they drifted farther and farther apart.
It wasn't until his brain was damaged that he realized her story had never been what he imagined.
++++ Gu Qing's inner thoughts: ...I can't help feeling that someone named Shen has cast himself in a bizarre Mary Sue role.
Author's ramblings: A little sweet treat. The heroine has no beloved person; the hero made all of that up in his head. It's genuinely super sweet, with no angst. I'm also looking forward to the hero remembering all the parts he played once his brain recovers and dying of embarrassment. Hope you enjoy it~

[How the Villain Ended Up Seducing the Author]:
+ Song Panpan is an unsuccessful writer on Green Hook Literature, and the defining features of her stories are that they're padded and riddled with typos.
One day, Song Panpan rapidly wrapped up her latest meandering story, "The Immortal Path," but a sudden alarm dragged her into an unfamiliar world.
System: Warning! Author Song Panpan has triggered the divine retribution system for excessive typos. As punishment, she must enter her own story and correct them in person.
Song Panpan glanced at her clothes, which matched those of the cannon-fodder senior sister in "The Immortal Path," and remained calm. "Transmigrating into a book? That's an old trope."
Later, once she learned just how outrageous the typos were, she desperately wanted to slap her overconfident self, especially when faced with the villain Boss Luo Tingzhou, who was a beautiful and tragic powerhouse early on and became ridiculously formidable later.
On the day he fell to the demonic path, the Boss fixed his blood-red eyes on Song Panpan amid the vast black fog, his body covered in blood.
Song Panpan approached him trembling and went through the motions, pretending to be magnanimous. "I don't mind if you hurt me."
Unexpectedly, the Boss, in the middle of his transformation, faltered and looked at her strangely. "Are you sure?"
Song Panpan: "?"
As soon as the words left her mouth, the bloodied young man in black kissed her gently on the lips.
Dazed, Song Panpan looked up at the original typo displayed by the System:
"I don't mind if you [sleep with] me."
Author's ramblings: The Chinese language is profound and rich.
---[Preview for "The Bridge Effect"]---
The first time Shen Hanzhou met Zhou Ziheng, she thought he was so proper he was practically old-fashioned.
After all, hardly anyone used a dated term like "young lady" to refer to themselves.
This was how Shen Hanzhou flirted with Zhou Ziheng: "Mr. Zhou, have you heard of the bridge effect?"
She took hold of the other end of his stethoscope. "Listen, my heart is racing for you."
"Your heartbeat is normal," Zhou Ziheng said politely, pulling his hand away. "Drink more water, stay up less, and the billing desk is to your right as you leave."
Shen Hanzhou looked at the lab forms he'd stuffed into her hand. "..."
Later, this was how Shen Hanzhou turned Zhou Ziheng down: "Dr. Zhou, what we have is just the bridge effect, an illusion caused by a racing heart."
Zhou Ziheng locked the office door, then came over with gauze and alcohol. "We need to treat that wound first."
Shen Hanzhou: "Dr. Zhou, don't change the subject. What we have isn't love."
"The bridge effect is quite common in the medical profession, especially in emergencies." Zhou Ziheng picked up an alcohol swab with tweezers and looked at Shen Hanzhou with complete seriousness. "For example, your wound is a little tricky."
"?"
"If we don't treat it soon, it'll be almost healed."
"..."
A free-spirited, wild, and carefree CEO x a warm, kindhearted, but cunning male doctor
Theme: Finding the truth and beauty of love.
Got it, the male protagonist must have imagined that the female protagonist likes Qing Ling hehehe
Why do sandwiches need to be placed in a thermal bucket?? Isn't this thing inherently cold?
Why don't you even know each other's relatives in a business marriage? Moreover, neither party knows each other. Are they eloping?
Turns out he's my cousin, so why does Qin look so ambiguous? I thought he liked the heroine.
It turns out he doesn't deserve it, hahahahaha
You're just an assistant, but you call your boss "brother" and your boss's wife "sister-in-law"? I don't quite understand
What's the point of hiding it under the bed? Put it in the crusher. And Qin hahahahaha he is a male mistress hahahaha he brought the wrong formula
? What did I hit!!!!!
It's so strange. I remember I bought this book. Why do I have to spend money to read it again today?
"Hit" is a big bug for the author~ Big
