[Western Crossover] A Guide to Superhero Corruption

"You are unhappy because you love humanity too much."

The Devil's Diary

One day, Lilian, a trainee demon working as Heaven's spy, was summoned by the big boss.

The Demon King Lucifer, whom she had never met, waved a hand and tossed her a project proposal:

The Superhero Corruption Plan

For some reason, superheroes had suddenly sprung up all over the human world, fighting injustice and protecting the innocent. They were seriously disrupting Hell's work. Lucifer suspected they had been sent by Heaven and ordered Lilian to go to the human world, keep an eye on them, and act when the time was right.

"I believe that, as a competent demon, you can twist their faith, break their hopes, crush their goodness, and finally reap their souls for Hell."

"I'm counting on you, little Lil!"

Meanwhile, Heaven's instructions were much more succinct.

"Oppose Lucifer."

Lilian: ...Thanks. Can I refuse? What, no?

Lilian: Got it. I'm on the job right now. :)

Whether demons or angels, anyone walking among humans needs a human guise.

Every day, Lilian opens her wardrobe and gets caught up in a dilemma: Hmm, am I a man, a woman, or transgender today? Am I good, evil, or somewhere in between?

Lilian: I'm a demon, and I'm insatiably greedy, so I'll take it all.

Her acting is so convincing that nobody realizes that the hulking Hydra brute who hits Captain America with a devastating blow, the icy, butch woman who beats up Gotham's knight, and the bald scientist who lures away the furious Hulk...

are all the same person as the fragile new female neighbor next door!

Reader's guide:

* The heroine is chaotic evil and pansexual. If you're particular about that, don't read.

* Superheroes, magic, technology, and fantastical races all mixed together.

* Captain America is the male lead, and he'll keep smashing into walls for love.

Theme: Evil never triumphs over good.
