The Yokohama Slacker Doesn't Want a Cat

The main story is complete. Next story: Bungo Stray Dogs: I'm Just an Ordinary Big Brother Unless something unexpected comes up, the story will go premium from chapter thirty-something on June 3. If you've been saving up chapters, hurry! () A note before you start: A story between someone hovering on the boundary between life and death, and a salted fish (who wants to) live an ordinary life. Dazai turns into a cat now and then, but is human most of the time. The first few chapters are a bit immature. If you can, I hope you'll give them a chance. () Sometimes I'll talk about the story in the author's notes, and occasionally there'll be bonus chapters, so please don't mute the author's notes. There are other story ideas on my profile. If you're interested, feel free to bookmark them (whispers). Blurb 1: Akiyama Makoto's lifelong ambition is to be a salted fish. Akiyama Makoto: So I'm not interested in sucking up to the boss. Bandage Freak: Hmph. Akiyama Makoto: Meeting your student/partner/best friend was just a coincidence. Bandage Freak: Hmph. Akiyama Makoto (numb): ...Whatever. I'm not interested in you anyway. Bandage Freak: Good. Keep it that way. Later. Bandage Freak: I hate that you're such a blockhead! Blurb 2: One day, Dazai turns into a cat. First he meets a dog, then a dog-man. Later, he runs into that dog-man in the weapons department. Dazai: Well, fancy meeting you here :) Akiyama Makoto is a well-behaved salted fish in the Port Mafia. One day, he brings home a cat. He throws it out in less than a day. Later, Akiyama Makoto picks up the same cat again. This time, the cat runs away on its own. After a while, the cat comes back by itself. Then the cat runs away again. The cat comes back. The cat runs away again and again. So he gets other cats. [I hope I can portray Dazai as I understand him. There may be some OOC moments. If there's a problem, it's my fault, so please don't yell at Dazai.] A lighthearted story. Don't overanalyze it.
