Not a story about everyone falling for the protagonist. If that is what you want, please do not read.
You Li suffers from severe dissociative identity disorder. Just after being released from a psychiatric hospital, he steps into the fog, where the blare of a truck horn and its headlights rush straight toward him.
After the accident, he finds himself in an inconceivable world.
[The Murderer in the Psychiatric Hospital]
A boy left unable to walk and suffering from amnesia as a result of the trauma of a car accident lies helplessly on the ground, isolated and alone in this deadly survival game.
His wheelchair has toppled over. In his beautiful, dark eyes, he sees a mad killer drawing closer and closer.
The killer wears a blood-soaked white coat and a terrifying clown mask with a wide, grinning mouth. The scalpel in his hand is razor-sharp.
The boy on the ground struggles to crawl away, supporting himself with his hands.
He hears the System’s order: “Pull off his mask.”
Terrified and out of his mind, You Li does as told. He tears off the killer’s mask, then freezes all over.
System: “Now, kiss him.”
[The Beautiful American Mercenaries on a Desert Highway]
On a stormy day, You Li flags down a heavy pickup truck. The man in the driver’s seat has his face covered, with guns and ammunition at hand and a cold gaze.
Prompted by the System, You Li steels himself and rises onto his tiptoes.
On a deserted highway where no one survives, a rain-soaked boy cautiously knocks on the window. “Hello, could I get a ride?”
The heavy pickup silently unlocks its door.
You Li soon gets his comeuppance for getting into a strange man’s truck. Ropes bind his whole body, leaving him unable to move in the back seat.
“He just appeared out of nowhere in the desert. Who knows if there’s something wrong with him? We should check him over before we untie him, right?”
You Li is bound among the fully armed men of the mercenary outfit that rules the desert.
From every direction, amused gazes watch him from behind covered faces.
[The Ghost Marriage Tradition in a Chinese Family Home]
You Li is chosen to be the young bride in a ghost marriage. Uneasy in the red sedan chair, he watches as a wedding robe floats out of nowhere and wraps itself tightly around him, layer by layer.
Paper figures lead him into the room.
Pale fingertips, white as Kunshan jade, lift his veil, revealing the boy’s hazy, panicked features.
A slender weighing rod slips beneath his skirt, its chill making him shiver.
“A Li has just joined the household. He still has to learn how to serve someone properly.”
[The Creature Raised in Captivity, Fused with a Dragon’s Bones]
The boy on the high-rise rooftop is always gazing out the window. Hearing footsteps behind him, he leaps off the bed and throws himself into the black dragon’s arms.
The man’s dragon wings cover him completely. The You Li he has kept captive for dozens of days looks at him, dazed and lovesick, and asks:
“Didn’t you say I could leave once today was over? Why does today never end? Why does tomorrow never come?”
“Why does the moon stay in the sky without ever setting?”
“Why is it always, always... nighttime outside?”
[The Hellish Survival Game, Stacked with Debuffs]
A blind boy flees in panic through the woods on a snowy mountain. A hunting rifle is aimed at the back of his head, and he accidentally falls into the snow.
He cannot see who drags him up from the ground, nor can he see who throws him into a bed in a cabin deep in the wilderness: the hunter.
Curled up in a corner on a bearskin rug, You Li has stacked every debuff and is now a blind, mute boy. He opens his mouth wide, but cannot utter even a single plea for mercy.
All he can hear is the hunter’s low, dangerous voice.
“Long time no see.”
“Did you miss me, baby?”
·

A Hundred Years After the Master’s Death by He An
[Blurb]
Lou Tingxue did not originally have the surname Lou. In a daze, he fell from the modern world into another realm, landing in Lihen Heaven, above the Thirty-Third Heaven.
He also became a helpless little child.
Here, every path was deserted and not a soul could be seen. He ate grass when hungry and drank dew when thirsty. Before he could finish ruining the spiritual flowers and herbs in this immortal realm, someone finally found him.
Like an untamed little snowman, he stumbled into a white robe.
“You found your way here. That in itself is a stroke of fortune.”
“But your aptitude is mediocre. You cannot cultivate the Dao.”
“Would you rather live as a mortal and enjoy yourself while you can, or cultivate bitterly for a hundred years and wager that you can defy fate?”
Lou Tingxue looked up, dizzy for a moment. “A mortal.”
The immortal, whose divine bearing was beyond compare, gazed at him and said, “Then Lihen Heaven will look after you for a hundred years.”
Lou Tingxue could not endure hardship. After settling in, he did not forget his benefactor, either. Every day, he went to see the immortal and stayed there all day long.
Day after day, for reasons unknown, the immortal changed his mind and decided to take him as a disciple.
The immortal gave him a surname and chose a name for him.
At the ceremony, all the myriad clans paid their respects. Lou Tingxue saw an immortal statue modeled after his master.
Its expression was compassionate, as if saving all living beings.
He trembled beneath it, hiding behind Lou Chijing. The child was so small and beautiful he looked as if he had been sculpted from snow.
Half-hidden behind the immortal’s robes, he seemed even more precious than white jade.
Only afterward did Lou Tingxue realize how powerful a patron he had found. The immortal stroked his head, bound their hair together, and granted him longevity. For more than twenty years after that, right up until Lou Chijing’s death, they maintained their close and affectionate master-disciple relationship.
After he died, Lou Tingxue let out a long sigh of relief.
Even though Lou Chijing’s death meant that Lou Tingxue, who had no cultivation at all, was driven out of Lihen Heaven.
·
The night is as cold as water. I wake from a dream.
Lou Tingxue dreams again of Lou Chijing, whose every word and action before the world carried the authority of Heaven, drawing him into his arms and gently patting his back. His fingers rest on the life pulse at the back of Lou Tingxue’s neck, rubbing it ever so slightly.
Their hair tangles on the bed, and soothing words drift by his ear.
“My sweet darling, my little jade slave.”
They are so intimate it seems to defy every moral boundary.
Neither truly master nor disciple.
He alone in the Three Thousand Worlds knows that Lou Chijing is no aloof gentleman at all. He opens his eyes.
But the first thing he sees is a man in white leaning against the window.
A hundred years have passed, yet the immortal still shines with the same glory.
Lou Tingxue would rather vanish on the spot than face him.
Of the Thirty-Three Heavens, Lihen Heaven stands highest;
Of the four hundred and four afflictions, lovesickness is the most bitter.
Lou Chijing gazes at him for a long time, then smiles gently. “With your master gone, how did my Lianyu Slave end up being bullied so badly?”
“You can’t go home, and you can’t return to Lihen Heaven.”
“How pitiful. Why don’t you think of a way to beg me, Yu Slave? I’ll see that justice is done for you, all right?”

The Puppet Emperor of the Paranoid Eunuch by He An
[Blurb]
It was ridiculous. A century after the Great Zhou dynasty was founded, it fell because the imperial family had so few heirs. Not only did a fool ascend the throne, but a mere eunuch seized power.
Wu Jing transmigrated into the body of that fool, the last prince of Great Zhou, who had only just been enthroned as emperor. He looked at the plain rice and greens in front of him, prepared by people who thought he knew nothing and was easy to bully.
His fists clenched. He was furious.
Outside the palace hall, the maids chattered:
“That little emperor is pretty cute.”
“If only he weren’t a fool.”
“Surely the Ninth Thousand Years won’t let His Majesty stay on the throne if he ever recovers.”
Wu Jing immediately deflated.
He had no choice but to swallow his anger and keep pretending to be a fool.
Then one day, he happened to pass through the imperial garden and saw the legendary Ninth Thousand Years, a man with a mercurial temperament who killed without batting an eye, the leader of the eunuch faction whom all the court officials hated to the bone. He wore court robes embroidered with a crane insignia, their deep red sleeves trailing on the ground.
The man crouched down, smiling in profile, and reached out with a slender hand to... feed a civet cat!
The cat was a stray from the imperial garden.
The next day, in the same spot, Wu Jing saw the Ninth Thousand Years feeding a little stray dog with a lame leg.
The third time they met was in the imperial study.
Wu Jing sat stiffly on the vast dragon throne. At his feet, a eunuch boy no older than ten was frantically kowtowing because he had accidentally splashed tea on the Ninth Thousand Years’ robe.
Blood ran down the boy’s face.
A moment later, someone came to drag the little eunuch away. The man seated in the grand chair suddenly spoke, his voice gentle. “Let it go. He’s only a child.”
Wu Jing shifted his dark eyes.
Ning Qinghong glanced sideways. “Your Majesty, please let me review the lessons you’ve studied recently.”
“Grrr...”
Wu Jing glanced at his stomach in embarrassment. Then inspiration struck. The half-grown boy lifted his pretty little face, his dark eyes clear and innocent. “Big Brother, I’m hungry.”
Ning Qinghong narrowed his eyes slightly and picked up a piece of pastry. “Come here.” Like someone coaxing a kitten, he soothed the little emperor as he fed him.
·
Rumor had it that the Ninth Thousand Years suffered from madness.
One moment he was smiling pleasantly, the next he was a merciless tyrant.
Wu Jing had not had time to regret latching onto this powerful patron when he hid in the wardrobe in his bedchamber. In the pitch darkness, he heard someone call from outside.
Ning Qinghong’s face was cold, but his voice was eerily gentle.
“Wu Wu, aren’t you hungry anymore?”
