No Lovestruck Fools Allowed in the System

[I'll definitely start this by October at the latest!] - Wen Jiu has fair skin, black hair, and an ethereal air. Her clear eyes look as if they're misted with frost, making her seem approachable, gentle, and kind. Yet her producer is always eager to cast her as a villain in music videos: Cute girl with a cannon: With a soft, harmless princess cut, she smiles as she hefts a firearm far too big for her frame. Murderer on a rainy night: Wet black strands cling to her pale cheeks as dark red blood runs from the blade between her fingers, mingling with the rain. Yandere doll: Holding a bouquet of flowers in both hands, she carries out an act of revenge and sacrifice with pure devotion. The response is enthusiastic. But her fans are always making strange requests from time to time: “Can you scold me, sis?” “Master, I left you a whip in the box!” “That's it, don't be nice to me!” “My favorite food is McDonald's!” “Waaah, don't act cute, you're out of character (trying to wipe away a nosebleed)!” Even Shen Zong, her human-shaped System, is becoming increasingly strange. On rainy days, he carries her to the car without being asked, kneels to massage her calves, secretly keeps her photo cards, volunteers to be a human hot-water bottle to warm her feet, and drinks the rest of her beverage through her straw... Then one day, another unfamiliar mechanical voice suddenly barged into Wen Jiu's mind: [Ahhh! Master, I've finally connected to you! I'm your real System!] It existed for only two seconds, then vanished without a trace. At the time, Wen Jiu's feet were resting in Shen Zong's palms. Wondering if she had imagined it, she raised her eyes and met his dark, brooding gaze. “It lied to you,” Shen Zong said without changing his expression. His long fingers had somehow closed around her ankle, and his grip was tightening. Like chains she couldn't easily break free from. “What did it say? Hmm?” Attention: 1. The male lead is sexually inexperienced; the female lead isn't (more or less). Please don't read if that bothers you. The heroine is a singer and dancer. There's both a career arc and a romance arc. A wish-fulfillment Mary Sue story. 2. The male lead has a little bit of superpower, but needs to eat a lot, sleep a lot, or get intimate with the heroine to recharge. 3. None of the characters are based on real people. Please read politely and don't mention real-life entertainers. 4. Refreshed the blurb on August 31, 2026. Saved a copy on Weibo.
