Her Rose

This is basically a story about a little schemer who fights monsters while doting on her big sister. An ABO sweet treat. Welcome!

Cheng Ying first met Jiang Hanguang at a banquet filled with clinking glasses and flowing wine.

The dignified-looking woman stood elegantly beside her lover, like a rose sealed in a glass jar, forever vivid yet forever lifeless.

What a pity, but it had nothing to do with her.

The second time they met, the woman was on her set, drenched from head to toe in cold water poured by the lead actress. Yet she still stood there, neither servile nor arrogant, like a green pine standing straight through wind and snow.

Cheng Ying had planned to sit back and enjoy the show, but when her eyes met Jiang Hanguang's, she found herself stepping in front of her without thinking.

A battered soul was trapped inside that peerlessly beautiful body.

It made her want to claim the woman for herself and protect her.

I once saw a one-of-a-kind rose in someone else's garden. It was the most beautiful flower I'd ever seen. Unfortunately, it belonged to someone, and even worse, its owner was a stupid ox.

Later, I saw that rose abandoned by the roadside, its branches and leaves in disarray, its life nearly over. It was about to be trampled into the unseen mud by some insignificant passerby.

So I took her away and planted her in my greenhouse, giving her the best temperature, light, and soil, and watching her bloom into a beautiful flower, bit by bit.

I also waited for that rose to shed her icy shell for me and kiss my fingertips with her soft, delicate petals.

This is my rose.

But she's only a rose, nothing special.

It wasn't until she grew into my heart that I understood.

She is the beating heart pumping blood through my cold armor, my one and only beloved.

A seemingly frivolous younger Alpha who's actually a shrewd schemer x a seemingly quiet and chaste older Omega who's actually childlike and pure of heart

Top agent (scheming boss) x has-been star

Happy ending, doting romance, bittersweet flavor, five-year age gap. They are each other's first love, have eyes only for one another, and are both virgins (adding this since people keep asking).

Potential trigger: Big Sis was once married, but her partner was an Asexual, and they never slept together.

The Alpha has a dick accessory, so please beware.

Please note: 1. Slow burn, slow burn, slow burn. The romance takes its time.

2. I'm sensitive and a terrible writer.

3. Five updates a week, with Wednesdays and Sundays off. Updates go up between 9 p.m. and midnight. Check my comments that night for the exact time.
