This Ghost Has No Money

Guan Jiu got into a car accident on his twenty-fifth birthday.

His soul floated in the air as he watched his body being carried into an ambulance. In the blink of an eye, he was back inside it.

Since the whole thing was so bizarre that no one believed him, Guan Jiu, completely unharmed, followed his doctor’s advice and went back to his hometown to recuperate. He moved into the large old house where his parents had often asked him to stay before the accident.

The old house was surrounded by lovely scenery and fresh air. The only problem was that it always got noisy at night.

Unconvinced that anything supernatural was going on, Guan Jiu hid in a cabinet in the middle of the night, only to witness something astonishing:

[What the hell are those things having a party outside???]

He had already died once, so he wasn’t scared at all. In fact, he was thinking of turning these things into a new way to get rich.

Until one day, a new resident moved into the old house.

Guan Jiu smiled. “Sorry, what did you just say? Could you repeat that?”

He Zhili answered without a hint of shame. “I don’t have any money for rent.”

Guan Jiu looked the handsome young ghost up and down, then raised an eyebrow. “I accept other forms of payment.”
