[Blurb updated 2023.05.13]
Sheng Liangan ran away from home.
He had secretly loved Yu Qibei for five years, and used their arranged marriage as a chance to tie himself to Yu Qibei.
In the second year of their marriage, while Yu Qibei was absorbed in work, Sheng Liangan still couldn't bring himself to confess. At last, he resolved to let go for good and move out before their marriage agreement expired.
After leaving home, he dropped the cultured, book-loving persona he'd put on and went back to streaming games every day.
To distract himself from the pain of his "breakup," he made an exception and took on his first student, despite being the top player on his server. He devoted himself to teaching the gaming newbie every move.
He grew close to his hardworking but still hopelessly bad little student, and accidentally let slip that he'd been dumped.
Then Sheng Liangan noticed that whenever his little student logged on, they loved setting off fireworks for him.
And whenever he casually mentioned being hungry, a food delivery would show up at his door.
Or when he came down with a high fever, his student would send a "housekeeper" over to look after him.
As Sheng Liangan watched the little gifts piling up on his desk, he was at a loss.
Then his little student confessed to him.
Little student: The best way to get over one relationship is to start a new one.
Little student: What do you think of me? I'm not very good at the game, but I'm really thoughtful (obedient.jpg)
Sheng Liangan: ...!!?
Sheng Liangan eventually accepted his little student's request to date online, and even made an exception to attend an in-person guild gathering. There, he met his little student.
He met Yu Qibei.
With flowers in his hands, Yu Qibei knelt on one knee in a secluded corner where no one else was around and reverently kissed his fingertips.
"I was too busy with work before and neglected you. Now that you're willing to give me a chance, will you let me pursue you again?"
Sweet and well-behaved bottom × gentle and doting top
[Reading Guide]
1. As is customary, this is a one-on-one romance. The top spoils the bottom, and spoils him a lot.
2. The top takes the initiative once. It isn't really a groveling arc (?). Overall, it's a warm, healing little sweet treat about mutual respect and understanding.
3. There's little technical game content. Most of it is everyday conversation and streaming, so you can enjoy it even if you don't play games.
3. The author's computer is too lousy to run games, so the game's general framework is loosely based on mobile games like New Swordsman and A Dream of Jianghu, plus Jian Wang 3 (I only play through the cloud gaming service), along with plenty of made-up stuff.
Theme: Love means being brave, but also being considerate and understanding of each other.
