The Foolish Little Husband Has Made It to High School!

To pay for his younger brother's wedding, Lin Xiu is sold by his family to become the husband of the Shen family's simple-minded son.

He goes to beg his childhood friend, who once promised to marry him, to save him.

But his childhood friend says he plans to take the imperial examinations, and marrying a male would bring him shame.

On the wedding day, everyone in the village has their own ideas.

"I heard that fool even beats people!"

Lin Xiu prepares himself to be beaten to death by the fool.

But who could have guessed?

"The new clothes are for Brother Xiu to wear, the meat is for Brother Xiu to eat, and Brother Xiu gets to manage the money. No one is allowed to bully him."

Shen Jinyu is innocent and cheerful, with eyes only for him.

Just as Lin Xiu thinks this is how their life will go on, the little fool comes down with a high fever.

When he wakes up, his eyes are clear. There's not the slightest trace of foolishness left.

The villagers say he's not a fool anymore, so he definitely won't want you now.

Shen Jinyu holds him protectively in his arms. "If anyone dares say that again, I'll cut out their tongue!"

To give his little husband a better life, Shen Jinyu begins to study.

Nobody believes in him. He can't even recognize written characters after all these years, and he still wants to sit for the imperial examinations?

Who would have guessed that Shen Jinyu would make it all the way to the palace examination?

Later, he becomes the prime minister, second only to the emperor and above everyone else.

And by his side, there is only one person.
