The Dragon and His Hero

The story of a dragon and his hero.

Completed: Raising Little Ones in the Palace

Mei Xun, an orphan in the modern world, dies and ends up in a book as the Crown Prince's study companion.

Mei Xun rubs his hands together eagerly. "Should I become a prime minister or a great general?"

Once he's in the palace, why is it nothing like he imagined? He came to be the Crown Prince's companion, not to look after all his younger brothers! And shouldn't the princes be the sort who scheme against each other all day and fight tooth and nail over the throne?

Can someone tell him why this bunch of princes is so delightfully unconventional?

The second prince loves gossip and manages all the palace's news. The third prince loves martial arts and is determined to become a hero who robs the rich to help the poor. The fourth prince loves writing little romance stories, full of tender and dramatic plots. The fifth prince loves opera and wants to become the greatest performer in the land. The sixth prince loves cooking and is determined to become the best chef in the world. The seventh prince loves medicine and wants to become the best doctor in the world. The eldest prince... looks at him a little strangely...

P.S. This is a goofy, lighthearted story about giving birth to children.

[The story after next] How to Fake Amnesia Without Getting Caught

Wen Xiao accidentally discovers a shocking secret about Lian Rui, the business tycoon of this city!

Even worse, Lian Rui finds out that he knows!

Rumor has it Lian Rui is brutal, vicious, and ruthless, and that he has a cruel hand with flowers...

Lian Rui sneers. "Only dead people can keep a secret."

In the end, Wen Xiao slaps his forehead. Got it. He'll pretend to have amnesia.

After "losing his memory," Wen Xiao swaggers right past Lian Rui. "I don't remember anything. I even forgot my own name." Lian Rui pulls him into his arms. "I'm your husband. Be good and come home with me."

Wen Xiao is even more horrified. "Where are my parents?"

Lian Rui plants a kiss on his face. "You've been an orphan since childhood. Our family raised you."

Wen Xiao doesn't dare reveal the truth, so he's forced to pretend to have amnesia and diligently play the role of President Lian's boyfriend.

Months later, Wen Xiao rubs his growing belly and watches Lian Rui happily making soup in the kitchen. Something about this doesn't seem quite right...
