Female lead: Catherine Earnshaw
Male lead: Heathcliff
"Neither lead is quite right in the head. The male lead is dark and twisted, while the female lead is self-centered."
[I]
A sudden blizzard severed all contact between Wuthering Heights and the outside world.
Fortunately, the manor still had countless sacks of flour, bottles of wine, and wheels of cheese.
Heathcliff shut the front door, turning away every traveler who came seeking help.
That was, until a girl appeared at the manor gate.
The girl had long black hair, dark brown eyes, fair skin, and a tall figure. She looked remarkably like Heathcliff's dead lover, Catherine.
The Catherine who had betrayed his love.
He knew that until the storm stopped, the girl would be the new mistress of Wuthering Heights.
[II]
A witch lives in the deepest depths of the ocean. She grants the wishes of young girls.
A crossover with Wuthering Heights
The Little Mermaid
A note for anyone who's read the original: this story includes several major changes that differ from the original.
1. All second-generation characters have been removed: young Catherine (Catherine and Edgar's daughter), Hareton (Hindley's and Frances's son), and Linton Heathcliff (Isabella and Heathcliff's son) do not exist.
2. In the original, Isabella Linton marries Heathcliff. This has also been removed.
Also: The story begins in November 1784, about eight months after Catherine Earnshaw's death. Her brother Hindley Earnshaw is already dead, and Heathcliff has taken full possession of Wuthering Heights.
Theme: Love that lasts until death.
