[Shamelessly recommending my upcoming works and new novels: Wuthering Heights: Catherine's Secret and The Tudor Dynasty: Satan's Rose]
[Blurb]
Mary Bennet believes in science and is convinced that science can change the world.
But after she dies, she makes a deal with the devil.
It's no big deal. For the sake of science, she can compromise with theology.
After being reborn, Mary sets herself three goals:
First, improve sanitation and health care in the English countryside so she can escape the grip of the Black Death.
Second, find the "invaders" the devil spoke of and set this world back on the right track.
Third, marry off all her sisters and be their bridesmaid.
Five years later.
Four bridesmaids in pink dresses surround Mary and wish her a happy wedding.
Mary: ??? So have I lost my chance to be a bridesmaid forever?
After Heathcliff is betrayed by his first love, he leaves Wuthering Heights and sets himself three goals:
First, get rich.
Second, get filthy rich.
Third, get revenge on his first love after he's filthy rich.
Five years later.
Heathcliff: People have to learn to let go.
A little scene
Mary: I heard you have a first love you can't forget?
Heathcliff: That's right.
Mary: Then am I your red rose?
Heathcliff: No. You're my red moonlight.
Mary: What does that mean?
Heathcliff: White moonlight + red rose = red moonlight
[Upcoming Novel Blurb]
Wuthering Heights: The Blizzard
Heroine: Catherine Earnshaw
Hero: Heathcliff
[You can enjoy this even if you haven't read the original!]
Neither the angels in heaven,
Nor the demons beneath the sea,
Can ever sever our souls apart.
From Annabel Lee by American poet and writer Edgar Allan Poe
[One]
A sudden blizzard cuts off all contact between Wuthering Heights and the outside world.
Luckily, the manor has countless sacks of flour, bottles of wine, and wheels of cheese.
Heathcliff shuts the gates and turns away every traveler who comes seeking help.
Until a girl appears at the manor gates.
The girl has golden hair, dark brown eyes, fair skin, and a tall figure. She looks exactly like Heathcliff's dead lover, Catherine.
The Catherine who betrayed his love.
He knows that until the storm stops, the girl will be the new mistress of Wuthering Heights.
[Two]
Catherine died on a stormy night.
She begged God to grant her a new body.
She returns to Wuthering Heights and meets her former lover, but she cannot tell him who she really is.
Because the price of receiving a new body is that she must never tell the truth.
For readers who have read the original: this story has several authorial liberties that differ from the original.
1. All the second-generation characters have been removed.
That means little Catherine, the daughter of Catherine and Edgar; Hareton, Hindley's son; and Linton Heathcliff, the son of Isabella and Heathcliff, do not exist.
2. The original plot point in which Isabella Linton marries Heathcliff has also been removed.
Also: The story opens in November 1784, about eight months after Catherine Earnshaw's death. Her brother Hindley Earnshaw has died, and Heathcliff has taken complete possession of Wuthering Heights.
If you have time, please check out my friend's upcoming novel!
[Classic Literature] Reborn as Julien's Evil Stepmother
by Piao Liang Shan Guang
P.S. The cover is super cute!
P.P.S. The cover really is super cute!
Theme: Be brave, be kind, and stay clean.
The difference between the second male and the first male is that one wants to own and the other wants to protect.
Isn't the piano really there? Hahahawww, it's over! Thank you to the author~ Ahem, I feel that there are some changes in the image of the male protagonist in the back (or the previous description will not make people think that he will be so powerful later?), And the female protagonist's feelings are a little sudden (because the female protagonist has been denying it before and is completely unaware! But it is undeniable that it is for the purpose of writing about the two of them) The relationship has been foreshadowed by many events, so I don't know what to say?) Overall, except for some of the heart-stopping plots, this is a very sweet story. The male and female protagonists are progressing smoothly, and even if there are misunderstandings, they are quickly solved. The female protagonist is independent, brave, and kind, and has a good outlook on life. The male protagonist is sharp-tongued, strong, and gentle. (So don't blindly believe other people's bad reviews, your own judgment is the most important) Thanks for the limited exemption, praise, I will read the author's other articles in the future~
I've finished reading it. Thanks for the limited fee. It's so beautiful.
Wuwuwuwuwu, when will Wuthering Heights open? I really want to see it.
Not bad, good looking~ Come on~
I was a little skeptical at first, but the final words gave me a definite answer. Sure enough, I was run over by a kindergarten car. If I'm not careful, I can't even smell the exhaust.
I kind of doubt that part was a stream of consciousness driving doge
It's a pity, but it's also true. In the past, how many women in the palace started making vases because of their status restrictions. Well
I'm also squatting at Wuthering Heights today
Such a good article, my God!! How could she be criticized as a stupid heroine... I feel so heartbroken for the author!! Thanks for the limited fee, very nice QAQ
