A new card-drawing game has recently become popular among high school girls. Someone developed a mobile game featuring photos of all the handsome guys in the Kanto region, along with made-up romantic scenarios. Five boys from the boys’ tennis club at Seishun Academy High School are included.

Akimoto Kumiko has played for over two months. She’s had terrible luck and drawn everyone except her favorite, Tezuka Kunimitsu.

“Tezuka Kunimitsu, come here!”

“What is it?”

“?”

She wanted the card, not the actual person!

[Excerpt 1]

“I’m sorry! I’ll make up the homework right away!”

This was already the third time Akimoto had stood in the corridor apologizing.

Akimoto Kumiko returned to her seat, looking utterly disheveled. She was about to take out the handout and textbook for her next class when she noticed a bottle of sweet chocolate milk in her desk, with a sticky note underneath: Lunch break. Same place in the library.

Who else could that handwriting belong to but Tezuka?

Overjoyed, Akimoto poked Tezuka in the back with the pointed corner of the milk carton. “Tezuka, you mean it?”

“Mm.”

“Yay, thank you!”

An SSR card had reached out to hug her first. This was heaven!

[Excerpt 2]

“Tezuka, don’t be so heartless!”

“I refuse.”

“I’ll make sure I do well in my other subjects. Can’t you help me with English at least a little?”

“I refuse.”

“Aw, we’ve been in the same class for six years, and you’re still this heartless!”

“I refuse.”

“I wish you’d use another phrase.”

“Do it yourself.”

“...”
