Hikaru No Go (Live-Action): The Wallflower Boy

No one knows that Yu Liang's favorite drink is actually bubble tea. No one knows that he has a greater knack for jigsaw puzzles. No one knows that, deep in his heart, he has always reserved a place for the girl across the ocean. But Fang Mu is different. She knows all of Yu Liang's likes and quirks. She can wait six years without hearing a word from him. She can run down countless streets to buy him a cup of milk tea. She can sit by the window reading and keep him company while he plays Go until he falls asleep. But the one thing she doesn't know is that while she keeps asking for confirmation, he has long since placed her first in his heart. Years pass, and flowers bloom and sprouts emerge. Childhood friends brew wine, then find themselves worlds apart. Black and white are only two colors. Love is only a question and an answer. And all of it comes down to Yu Liang's hand, which once held a Go stone, finally holding hers. The blanket draped over her shoulders will, in the end, cover the fleeting years. At last, the boy's feelings have not gone unanswered. Warning: The usual rules: Don't click if it's not your thing. No trolling. Any out-of-character moments and plot holes are on me. My headcanon is set in stone. Please check out my He Jiajia romance next door, As You Are. Dear readers, please add this to your favorites, comment, and leave encouragement! Every bit of support motivates me to keep writing. Theme: Even if I'm the only one who knows the person I love is worth it, that's enough.
