Taking My Prince Consort to the Seventies

A curious piece of news had recently spread through Hongxing Brigade in Guangnan County: Gu Laoda, that man from the Gu family who beat his wife three times a day, was actually making a fuss about splitting up the family! Granny Gu: "A wife you marry is like a horse you buy. You can beat her and ride her as you please! If she dares say no, divorce her!" Gu Nanshan: "Then why hasn't my dad divorced you?" Grandpa Gu: "Women should stay home and wash clothes and cook. What the hell do you need school for!" Gu Nanshan: "Women hold up half the sky. If you dare act feudal again, I'll report you to the commune!" Gu's parents: "You little brat!" Princess Su Nian'an of the Southern Dynasty was struck by a bolt of lightning on the day she married her consort and was sent into a heart-wrenching period novel. Fortunately, she brought her top-scoring consort along with her. "Consort, these coarse clothes are chafing my skin red..." "Consort, I want the imperial chef's rose pastries..." "Consort, does this jade suit my complexion...?" With each sweet complaint from Her Highness the Princess, the prince consort worked hard with his head down. The Plum Blossom Textile Mill, Hongyun Restaurant, and Xianlu Jewelry sprang up one after another. In the blink of an eye, he became the richest man of the 1980s!
